How we transport heavy special equipment throughout Russia

Task:

A major official dealer of heavy equipment approached us with an important and regular task: ensuring uninterrupted deliveries of new forklift trucks to various regions of Russia. Each such loader is an impressive cargo weighing about 3.5 tons, requiring strictly regulated transportation.

Solution:

To accomplish this difficult task, we have developed and successfully implemented a comprehensive logistics solution, the center of which was rail transport.

1. Development of individual fastening schemes: Unique fastening schemes were developed for each type of loader and specific wagon. Also, stops and supports were additionally manufactured and placed strictly in accordance with current safety standards, preventing the slightest displacement of cargo. Forklifts were fixed using ratchet straps and chains. Thus, each loader remained “cast” into the wagon, ensuring its safety throughout.
2. Full document support: Transportation of oversized cargo by rail requires the execution of many permits and approvals. We took over all the bureaucratic complexities, from processing supporting documents to obtaining the necessary permits, relieving the client of this laborious work.
3. Regular train departures: Due to the regular departures of our railway trains, we can plan the delivery schedule in advance and meet the necessary deadlines.

Result:

Uninterrupted deliveries and a satisfied customer! Heavy loaders are regularly delivered to the most remote corners of our country. Dealers receive their equipment on time, and their customers receive new equipment, ready for operation.
